“Dakota” is a beautiful buckskin grade Quarter gelding. He is between 15-15.1 hands tall. He is 9 years old. If you looked up the definition of the word GENTLE in the dictionary you should find the name Dakota!! You won’t find a sweeter and kinder horse than he is. He was owned by a family that had 8 kids. He has been ridden bareback, double and even triple. With kids being kids he has been asked to do things even mom wouldn’t probably approve of but he has always been a good sport and ready for any adventure that they came up with. He is SAFE for Grandma and the non-riding husband. If you are looking for horse to build your confidence Dakota is your guy! He is a seasoned trail horse. He doesn’t spook. He doesn’t have a mean or foolish bone in his body. When you put your saddle on him you can be sure that your ride will be both enjoyable and safe. He will go anywhere that you ask him without complaint. He will ride one handed with a loose loop in your reins. He will ease along without a care in the world. He has a soft little trot and will lope off with just a nudge. He has been ridden on the road and he is traffic, dog and UTV safe. He has been taken to the 4H shows. He is good in the pasture with other horses and will meet you at the gate when he sees you coming. He loads and hauls well.
