“Caroline” is a stunning buckskin grade Missouri Fox Trotter mare. She is 15.2 and stout built. This beautiful mare has a wonderful disposition. She is 10 years old. She was raised, trained and ridden by a gentleman in his 80’s. He finally had to make the hard decision to give up riding. Caroline is too special to just stand in the pasture without someone enjoying her. She has been to lots of big trail rides. She has camped and will stand tied on the picket line. She is a wonderful trail riding horse. She will walk along slowly with Quarter horses. She has a wonderful smooth gait that you can ride for hours at a time without tiring. She will lead the ride if you want to but she will also bring up the rear. She rides just fine out alone. She will ease over slick flat rocks, ease over downed trees and ride through the brush if you like to trail blaze. She can go for long periods of time without being ridden and she will stay GENTLE. She will ride bareback with just a halter if you don’t want to put your tack on. She loves people and she loves to be brushed. She is good for the farrier, a haircut and a bath. She loads and hauls well. She will even load herself if you open the door. She is so much fun. You won’t find a more enjoyable horse to ride. This beautiful girl has always had the very best of care and we will only sell her to someone that will take incredible care of her.
